This is a very beautiful and comfortable piece of wearable art. I ordered the 4 1/2 inch length fork which is perfect for my fine textured, medium-long hair. Many hair sticks and forks tend to slide right out of my hair, but the wavy prong design of this holds very well. the light weight and ultra-smooth texture feels really nice and adds to the overall comfort with no pulling or snagging of hair. All this and beautiful wood grain too! I couldn't be more pleased.

This beautiful hair fork is FABULOUS! I have very thick, below shoulder length hair and its always difficult to find barettes, clips, claws, etc to hold it up in place unless i first secure it with a handful of long roller pins first. This fork is beautifully crafted, curved to comfortabley fit the head, i can lay down on my back with this fork in place and not develop a pounding headache. the fork holds my hair in place, allows it to loosen in the coil slightly but not enough to come out and fall down. on more formal days, i do secure the hair with 1 or 2 long roller pins to keep the ends neatly tucked in and then the fork does the rest and holds my hair in place until i take it down. This was a great purchase and will definitely purchase more from this vendor.

I love everything about the Baerreis Little Egypt from the lovely colour of wood to the fact that it holds my very thick hair up effortlessly. I wear my hair frequently in all variations of buns and this fork will work (and accent) all of them. My hair length is just below APL at its longest layer but I'm sure it will secure hair much longer.

Highly recommended purchase and will definitely be ordering more in future
